Every good journey comes to an end! The best thing is that the upcoming 3rd International DANUrB+ Conference and Closing Event in Budapest, Hungary is just the “grand finale” of the current project period as the initiative will continue its excessive motivation for further development of the Danube Cultural Promenade in the following years.
The Living Danube Limes (LDL) project will develop a website and mobile application aiming to present the archeological sites of Roman fortifications, fortresses, and settlements along the Danube Region in an interactive way. Approximately 350 sites will be included, and 8 pilot sites from partner countries will be presented through virtual reality (VR) reconstructions. The coordinator for Bulgaria, National Tourism Cluster "Bulgarian Guide" (NTC-BG), is responsible for the Bulgarian pilot site Bononia/Vidin, which together with the remains and finds in Sinagovtsi and Ratiaria/Archar, have the potential for huge tourist development of Vidin Region in cultural and historical aspect.
The DANUrB+ International Partners’ Meeting took place in 3 different countries – Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria between 10th and 15th October 2021. It gathered more than 50 project partners and stakeholders from the 6 countries - Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Slovakia.
The DANUrB+ International Partners’ Meeting will be held between 10th and 15th October 2021 in Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria. The Budapest University of Technology and Economics and the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava are hosting the event and have planned Study Trip to the Northern Section of the Danube on October 10th and 11th, Project Partner’s Meeting with Workshops in Bratislava on October 12th and 13th, and Western European Study Trip in Austria during October 14th and 15th.
The Living Danube Limes (LDL) Museum Cluster Brand Positioning was one of the main topics on the 1st International Conference within the EU Interreg DTP Project “Living Danube Limes”, held on 07-08.09.2021, virtually hosted by the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, and the Lead Partner - Danube University Krems.
The festival will be held from Friday to Sunday - July 2-4, 2021, in the "Vratsata" area near Vratsa. It is organized by the Vratsa Municipality under the Project QuesTour - Valorization and capitalization of unexplored cultural and historical resources in the cross-border region of Bulgaria and Serbia, CB007.2.13.225, in which it is a partner. The leading partner of the project is the National Tourism Cluster "Bulgarian Guide", and the partner from Serbia is ENECA, Nis.
The 5th DANUrB+ International Partner Meeting took place in Sombor, Serbia on June, 15-17, 2021. It gathered journalists from Croatia and Serbia and more than 90 participants from the 6 different partner countries (Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Slovakia).
